Aquaculture

Shrimp farming is a risky but profitable business.  This industry brings  a major part of the revenue of the seafood in Vietnam, and high incomes to the farmers. However, the agriculture is facing many challenges during farming such as diseases, high mortality rates, low productions. We provide the best additives for shrimp feed to improve the shrimp health, and enhance the pond water, resulting in higher productivity of the farming.

Disinfectants

Iodine is one of our chemical disinfectants provided to the market which is widely used in aquaculture water, which can reduce the occurrence of diseases and improve the survival rates of shrimps or fishes. A small amount of iodine added to your pounds could kill up to 100 % of bacteria and fungus. It is also used to destroy the microorganisms and pathogens attached to your tools, equipment and working clothes. It is reported to have better performance than chlorine compounds and is practically non-toxic, nor irritating for humans.

Minerals

A little dose of silica, iron, magnesium, potassium, aluminum, calcium or sodium can improve the beneficial pond bacteria’s chances to operate at maximum efficiency. More importantly, Ca, Mg and K can enhance the survival rate of shrimps in ponds whereas P is used to regulate the salinity of shrimp water. Ca and Mg supply extra-minerals for the exoskeleton formation of shrimp and help to complete moulting process. Trace minerals also support the functionalities of hormones, enzymes and cell metabolic activities, promoting the growth and productivity of shrimp ponds.

Silica+

SILICA+ is a crystalline compound which can store specific electromagnetic frequencies induced by the manufacturers. By accelerating the energy transfer by water molecules, SILICA+ promotes enzymatic reactions, protein and mineral digestibility, synergy with additives (antibiotics, probiotics, acids, yeasts), bacterial activity. Therefore, the overall performance of farming should be significantly increased.

Vitamins

Together with minerals, vitamins are essential for shrimp’s life. Among those, Vitamin C is the most important due to its powerful antioxidant and immune-enhancer properties. It enhances the immune system, supporting the shrimp’s recovery after getting sick. It also prevents the negative effects of water temperature fluctuations and avoid heat stress of shrimps.  It can be mixed with shrimp feed or dissolved in pond water in tiny quantities.

Probiotics

Probiotics are considered as an alternative strategy to promote growth and prevention of diseases in aquaculture. Probiotics such as Bacillus species, Bifidobacterium bifidium, Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus can enhance the performance of the digestive system and the balance of gastro-intestinal tract. Probiotics can be added in shrimp feed for daily consumption.

Phytogenic Extracts

Plant extracts, for example cashew nut shell oil, can contain polyphenol compounds that possess antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. For shrimps, plant extracts are mixed with feed and used to treat diseases in the digestive tract caused by protozoa and gram (+) bacteria. More recently, plant extracts are considered as alternatives for artificial antioxidants for sustainable development.
